Conifer Cottage comprises lounge and kitchen diner on the ground floor, also a small private courtyard garden at the rear. On the first floor are two bedrooms (double and twin). You are welcome to bring your own travel cot but by prior agreement only.
The kitchen was totally refurbished in February 2022 with new flooring, lighting, units, sink, appliances including the addition of a dishwasher.
The bathroom was refurbished in February 2018 with new mixer shower, P-shaped bath with screen door, basin and WC suite, wall panels and flooring.
The lounge has a wooden floor, the bedrooms and stairs are carpeted, the kitchen and bathroom have vinyl flooring, and the cottage benefits from gas central heating. The kitchen diner is spacious and fully equipped.
It has obtained a 4 star rating from Visit Britain which is assessed each year.
Conifer Cottage is a Victorian, two storey, terraced property which was completely modernised in 2005 and provides all you need for a relaxing holiday for 4 people. It is in a quiet one way street with on street parking and is very conveniently situated for the town centre, only a 5-10 minute walk.
COVID 19 - Our cleaners continue to sanitise the cottage very thoroughly with the recommended products after each group of guests depart.

“A perfect cottage in every way”
We spent 3 nights in this lovely cottage. It is really clean, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen is surprisingly spacious. Just myself and my husband stayed in the double room but there is another twin room so it is perfect for a family of 4. The location is great as the cottage is less than a 5 minute walk from Ashbourne town centre. There is a Sainsburys a few minutes walk away too.
We would love to go back at some point in the future.

“Conifer Cottage is perfect”
If you are looking for a small, cosy, comfy, warm and extremely well equipped Holiday Cottage, which is spotlessly clean then look no further. On arrival we were delighted to find a fridge freezer which we hadn't seen mentioned before our arrival. Very well situated to walk around delightful Ashbourne where we lost count of the number of cafes, restaurants, and pubs! A choice of Sainsbury or Waitrose within five minutes walk, and Aldia five minute drive away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage to our family and friends.
